Pricing
30 minute lessons will be $385 Per term, invoiced upfront. You will be sent an invoice at the beginning of the term and it is payable within 14 days. This price will include a free display folder, 3 free guitar picks and a free practice notebook for all new students.
Note: Discounts and deductions will not be available for students who take a non compulsory break for extra holidays or time away from school.
30min, 45min and 60min lessons are available.
Sickness
If a student is sick they should not to attend their lesson. If I am sick I will need to cancel the lesson to keep students safe and to adhere to the restrictions around Covid19.
Missed Lessons
If lessons are missed I am happy to send the next steps the student can take with their guitar practise via email or a Facebook Messenger Video. This way, students can keep continuity each week. Catch-up lessons will not be available.
School Lessons & Turning up
Students are responsible for arriving at their lesson on time. Valuable learning time is lost if I have to go and find them or retrieve them from class. If required, a reminder card can be provided for their class teacher.
Injuries
If a student is injured but is still at school, they will still be expected to attend their lesson. This provides an opportunity to discuss other aspects of their music training, such as theory, rhythm and ear training. This is a very worthwhile activity, and maintains productive continuity.
Expectations Regarding Practise
Time spent throughout the week working on the material covered in each lesson is vital. In order to best foster the investment in lessons, students are encouraged to practise between 15-30 mins a day at least 3-5 times per week outside of their lesson. Those who practise more usually experience faster improvement.
Termination of lessons
If a student wishes to discontinue their lessons at any point throughout the year, they will be
asked to complete the remainder of the current term. If the student does not wish to complete the
term that is their choice, however there will be no refunds available.
Extra Lessons
Every now and again students might like an extra lesson. If this is the case the individual lesson
prices are:
30mins: $38.50 45mins: $57.75 60mins: $77
